Twas the Night Before Christmas
December 25, 2012
Yesterday was our first Christmas eve since we’ve had the kids that we didn’t go out of town and it was so nice. In fact, last Christmas eve we spent part of the night in the ER when Gabby had an allergic reaction to something. Definite upgrade! Michael took the day off and Papa Dino came in. It was a full day but also a day spent making lots of memories. There was ice skating, cookie decorating, Christmas eve service at church, opening the kids presents from Papa Dino and then playing them (Wii games!), putting out reindeer food and leaving cookies and milk out for Santa. Gabby was so excited she even took something to bed with her then threw it down after we turned out the lights and tried to convince Peter that it was Santa. Love that imagination and excitement!
Papa Dino reading a story Sunday night after he came in.
Playing in the scraped ice or “snow.”
Wii game. Just Dance Disney edition.
Reindeer food we made at Gabby’s school Christmas party.
Putting out the reindeer food to guide them in.
Santa’s cookies and milk.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
while visions of sugar plums danced in their heads.
