Gabby’s Preschool Graduation

Friday, May 18, 2012 by Leslie Paladino

Yesterday Gabby had her graduation ceremony from Preschool.  It was a really cute program that the kids worked so hard on.  Then everyone went to a park and had pizza and played.

Next week is our last week and then preschool is officially over.  I can’t believe my baby is so big and will be starting kindergarten next year.  Insert tears.  :(

Accepting her “diploma" yesterday.

This was so sweet.  They interviewed all the kids and asked them what they want to be when they grow up.  There were artists, vets, police, etc then we get to Miss Gabby.  :)

This was the Hip Hop ABC song.  It was awesome!

I got a little bit of the song from my phone.  They’ll have a dvd of the program next week that I might put out.  This doesn’t do it justice.

This picture doesn’t look like much but it was big drama at the time so I had to document it.  Gabby and Millie were having a hard time with some younger girls taking over their space and trying to play something that was not Gabby approved.  This is her trying to negotiate with the others.  I see many, many, many more of these dramas in our future.

GranDeb Visit

Sunday, April 15, 2012 by Leslie Paladino

We had a great visit with GranDeb the last few days and were sorry to see her go back this morning.  We went to Crystal Bridges of course which was beautiful.  I’m sorry to say it was my first time to go.  I know, shame on me since we live right here.  It’s strange to think something like that is just sitting out in the woods in the middle of Bentonville.

Saturday we took GranDeb to the drive through zoo in Gentry.  It was kind of a whirlwind trip to go from seeing multi million dollar art to feeding goats and petting monkeys in the middle of a cow pasture basically.  Only in Arkansas.  :)

We miss you and love you GranDeb!  We look forward to hopefully seeing you again in October.  This time it will be your turn to give us the whirlwind tour.

Outside Crystal Bridges.  They did an amazing job with the grounds!  And these guys aren’t so bad either.  :)

Gabby the goat charmer.  Luckily this goat didn’t butt her off the rock.  He kept playing King of the Mountain with another goat and wouldn’t let anyone else on the rock.

I love this picture.  It’s hard to look handsome with a monkey on your head but I think he pulls it off nicely.

Yep, he’s trying to take a bite of Michael’s head here.  And he licked his head next.  We’re still not sure if the red, bumpy rash on Michael’s head is related or not.  Who knows?!  :)

Hmm, something looks off here…
