Splash Park Field Trip…From 2 Months Ago

Thursday, July 11, 2013 by Leslie Paladino

You’ll probably notice a theme to my blog posts.  They’re all pretty outdated.  It’s a little ridiculous how behind I’ve gotten so please forgive the onslaught of posts in the next few hours or days depending on when I get around to posting them all.  Smile  I have A LOT of end of year school stuff from Gabby’s school starting with this field trip to the splash park.  I must have been lazy with the camera this day because you can’t actually see the splash park in any of the pictures but trust me, it’s there.  This was popsicles in the grass after playing in the water.

Peter’s End of Year Program…From 2 months ago

Thursday, July 11, 2013 by Leslie Paladino

So now that we’re in July it’s probably time to go back and recap Peter’s End of Year Program from May.  What can I say, we’re enjoying Summer way too much.  Who wants to sit at a computer and “work.”  Yes, I know you’re thinking Lord help her if she ever has to get a real job again some day.  Smile  It’s funny to go back and compare Gabby at the same end of year program 2 years ago (May 2011 on the blog).  She was of course 6 feet tall at that point compared to Peter.  Ha!

Happy 4th Birthday Peter Michael!

Tuesday, June 4, 2013 by Leslie Paladino

Today is Peter’s 4th birthday.   I know I say this every year, but I’m always shocked at how fast the kids are growing and changing and it really is hard to believe my baby is 4.  That just seems like such a big boy age.

We decided to keep it very low key this year and not have a party.  He didn’t really care about having one so we just kept it with us and Papa Mike made a surprise visit.  We had the house decorated a little when he woke up and all of his toys waiting for him.  Then we got donuts and went to Walmart to spend a little of his birthday money.  We finished the night with Peter’s choice of activities which was Chick-Fil-A and bowling.  He was absolutely wild by the end of the night and worn out by bed time!  I think he had a great 4th birthday!

So Happy Birthday my sweet baby boy.  You are a little ray of sunshine and light to our family and I love the way God made you.  All boy but also gentle and so sweet.  I couldn’t ask for a more perfect, precious boy.

I’m including this one just to have a memory of this phase.  This is Peter’s current picture smile.  Smile  We’ve had some interesting school, etc. pictures this year needless to say.  I had to make him laugh in all of the other smiling pictures to get the real Peter smile.
