Sorry for the lack of blogging lately. We’ve been on the go every weekend so this is going to be a really big post with lots of pictures.
Random pictures first. Showing off their matching pj’s.
Does it look like she’s ready for bed?
Gabby had school pictures this month so we practiced smiling since she usually refuses to even look at the camera.

Gentry Zoo
We visited the Gentry Drive Thru/Petting Zoo the first weekend of October. We went last year too but Peter was a newborn so this year they both got to enjoy it. Gabby’s favorite animal was the “peahock.” Gabby and I even got to go in a cage with baby lions and pet them.
Gabby and a monkey in case you can’t tell what the animal is.
In one pen they have kangaroos that just jump around with chickens and peacocks that you can pet.
Whoever thought you could look so pretty surrounded by a bunch of goats.
Is this a look of joy or a look of “what can I hit you with?”
Hmm, I wonder why the goat’s running away?
Can you tell they’re brother and sister here with those matching expressions?
Pumpkin Patch
The next weekend we visited a pumpkin patch where they got to play on some hay, take a hayride and pick their pumpkins off the vine. Not a big fan of the hay. Getting ready to jump off the hay. Ah, fooled you. Once that head turns to the side there’s no moving it.
Little Rock Trip
Our next trip was to Little Rock to see Papa Dino. We went to the Little Rock Zoo with Papa Dino, Uncle Chris and Aunt Shelley. We all had fun but poor Peter took a header as soon as we set him down and had a huge bump to show for it. He’s all better now though and doesn’t seem to have any side effects other than his eyes are crossed. :) On Sunday Papa Dino had a pumpkin for us to carve before we visited Aunt Karen and Mee Maw. For some reason we didn’t think to take any pictures at Aunt Karen’s but we had a great time visiting and playing in her back yard.
Peter the Penguin Papa Dino the Crazy Penguin Gabby thought the bird house was stinky and held her nose the whole time. Peter hanging out patiently in his stroller This is a few minutes after the big bump. Watching the elephants. Awe, what a good uncle these kids have. This happened while we were still in the parking lot leaving the zoo. Showing off our pumpkin.
GranDeb Visit Last week we had a surprise visit from GranDeb and Bill. GranDeb got to pick up Gabby from school and they stayed for dinner and lots of playing. Gabby was so disappointed when GranDeb had to leave so that means she needs to come back again soon.
Pumpkin Patch II
To finish off our month of Fall activities we did our annual pumpkin patch trip with our friends from Ft. Smith (although we were missing Logan’s family this time). :( Gabby and I in our matching outfits. I know, a little dorky but at least it wasn’t matching hot pink velour this time. Gabby and Grayson about to throw their rocks. Michael with the perfect pumpkin. Gabby with her customary picture smile. Matching expressions again. They get this look from their Daddy. Can you tell they’re ready to go?
This weekend we also carved some of our pumpkin patch pumpkins. Michael carved an Ariel pumpkin for Gabby. And my art project for the weekend, my thanksgiving sign. We definitely have a lot to be thankful for!
Just your average story. Girl meets boy, girl and boy fall in love and get married. They have a simple, quiet life then girl and boy decide to start a family. It feels like thats where our story really gets interesting because its hard to remember life before kids. My husband, Michael, and I have been married since 2002 and live in NW Arkansas with our two amazing and slightly crazy kids, Gabby and Peter Michael. This blog is all about our daily, weekly, or monthly lives depending on how up to date I keep it. Im a stay at home mom so of course theres the average craft, etc along the way. Enjoy!
